There are changes afoot at the Kurriculum Korner

The air is cooler in the morning. The days are shorter and most of our home schools are up and running, hopefully smoothly. Business has slowed down in the shop to a crawl with several days of no visitors and no phone calls. Therefore, as usual, I am switching to “ by appointment” effective October the 20th, after the close of business at 5pm.

I am still here and am happy to accommodate you if you want to come in and shop. Between now and the New Year, I have a few short trips planned for fall since summer is so busy but I am confident we can work around those. I am also looking forward to cleaning the shelves and rearranging to make things more accessible and “locate- able” . I am also planning to have special sales between now and Christmas on things that are suitable as gifts. Books and educational games make for great stocking stuffers, shoebox additions and party favors. Books are perfect to use as donations to charities, favorite doctor offices, waiting rooms in hospitals etc..

Please feel free to call or email to schedule a visit. Sometimes we just need reference books, literature or sometimes we need to rethink our approach and what we are using to accomplish our goals this year. It is perfectly fine to change curriculum mid year or even mid semester if it is not working. Sometimes, we need to find another way of explaining a complicated concept. Sometimes, tears on both the parents and students sides require more than just an attitude adjustment. Call me and we will arrange a time for shopping.
